[/li][li]History: When he was 15, his parents separated. After spending time sorting out his life and dealing with his stress, he discovered “The World”. At first, he couldn’t get into it, but once he got his friends to start playing it as well, he found it was much more fun to get out and meet people to hang around. He looks after his sister, making sure to always keep her safe. This trait carried into his character’s personality, and he uses the game as motivation to get him through rough times in his life, as well as his primary means of social interaction. He prefers to play on the Japanese server, as a means of increasing improving his language skills.

Kicking open the door to his bedroom, Ryan quickly booted up his computer. He was ready for another foray into “The World”, his latest addiction. After his computer finally started up, he logged on, preparing for an adventure.
After appearing in the town, Vanargandr was met with a generous helping of happy greetings and party invitations. He was a bit of a hero to some of the usuals here, and some of the younger players look up to him. He casually turned them down, though, for today he had his own plans. He was going to head out on his own adventure, and didn’t want any distractions. Walking up to the gateway, he entered some keywords and disappear. He almost regretted ignoring the voices of the downtrodden, but he had more important things to do today.
Appearing in the field, he looked around for the creature. He double checked the keywords, making sure they matched. He was definitely in “Dark Drowning Oblivion”, where he was told the beast was last seen. Just as he began to think he missed it, a beast came out from behind some boulders. It was large, with the colors randomly shifting. Some people have begun to call the creature the “Underfiend”, due to its seemingly unholy ability to destroy everything in its way. This would be the perfect way to gain some experience. Running up to the beast, he leapt into the air, narrowly avoiding a swing from its massive claws. While in the air, he threw Akuma into the creatures chest. It landed, stabbing deep into its flesh, but with little effect. The creature let out a roar, showing its rage. With the creature now clawing furiously, Vanargandr was put on the defensive. Blocking and dodging attacks, waiting for the right time to strike, when he noticed a small spot that didn’t change color, low on the beast’s underbelly. He leapt again into the air, but dropped down quickly, grabbing his planted blade and dragging it down to the monster’s stomach. Slicing open its body at the apparent “weak point”, Vanargandr proceeded to tear into the beast, driving it back until it had sustained enough damage to make it susceptible to his attacks. With one final thrust, he buried his blade deep within the monster’s underbelly. The beast vanished, leaving behind enough experience to level up. After inputting the command to gate out, he returned to town and immediately logged off before someone could find out he killed the “unbeatable creature” and end up making him look like the hero.
Removing his headset, Ryan looked towards his clock to find that he’d spent a significant amount of time battling the creature. Walking downstairs to his kitchen, he greeted his sister, Sarah, grabbed some food, and went back upstairs. After eating his food, he lay down on his bed and went to sleep.
